SCRUMPTIOUS STUFF has been in business
for over 10 years, originating in Seattle and then moving to
the "rolling hills" of the Palouse. Catered events
have included wedding receptions with 300 guests to
private dinners for eight.
If asked what jobs proved to be the most challenging you
would hear:
- Catering business parties on yachts
with a galley the size of a port-a-potty (not even a one butt kitchen).
- A Christmas party for firemen and
families at the fire station. Between alarms and fuses
blowing in the kitchen three times, dinner WAS 6 minutes
late.
- A Fund raiser for the Seattle
Aquarium (at the aquarium) where the only source of
water was the rest room.

If asked what were the "bestest events"
you would hear they all were but some will certainly never
be forgotten:
- Catering the weddings for family
members and friends were always special, e.g., one
special moment would have to be the "falling" wedding cake.
During the wedding ceremony Scrumptious noticed the four
tier wedding cake was beginning to list badly downward,
that is.
Throwing caution to the wind, Scrumptious plunged her
hands under the middle layer just as the final list was
about to happen. With a radiant beam on her face and up
to her knuckles in frosting she held the cake for 12 &
2/3 minutes until the bride and groom quickly cut the
cake smiling happily for the photographer.

SCRUMPTIOUS STUFF also teaches cooking
classes.....While in Seattle classes were taught at Magnolia
Kitchen Shoppe, at business facilities and in private homes.
Her classes are laced with humor and every one always says
they had no idea such a good time would be had.
Here's a story to make your heart beat more rapidly; at a
Seafood Aplenty class she taught a recipe titled Razzle
Dazzle Scallops. After the class an attendee called
saying she had fixed the dish. Her boyfriend raved about it
and proposed marriage that very night. Eat your heart out
Emerill!
So all and all it would be difficult for anyone to believe
that you wouldn't call or
e-mail
Scrumptious for your catering needs and/or a cooking class.
