The "SCRUMPTIOUS" would like to let you in on a few of her trade secrets.

A Scrumptious Tip #1: "GRIT REMOVAL" Do you have problems de-griting fresh spinach, well no more with the Scrumptious method.  Pull each leaf from stalk and immerse in a bowl of warm, not hot water.  Allow to sit a few  seconds, lift out and toss water.  Run warm water in bowl and repeat the immerse and sit a few step above.  Continue to repeat until bottom of bowl is grit free.   As Emeril would say; "Oh yeah Baby!"
A Scrumptious Tip #2:  Granted one should always taste what you are fixing, HOWEVER never more than three times.....after three your taste buds go to la la land.  I always select another "taster person after #3, usually my husband aka Sparkie for taste #4, etc.
A Scrumptious Tip #3:  Do people talk behind your back about your soggy piecrust????  Fret no more as I have the solution.....just sprinkle a little powdered sugar on crust before pouring in filling and walla... no sog.
A Scrumptious Tip #4:  Are your pasta salads bland? If so it could be that the dressing joined that one sock that disappeared to the lost sock heaven. Check out Scrumptious' pasta salad recipe, There are 3 secrets to "outstanding pasta salad"
